Join archaeologist Wade Tharp for a talk about prehistoric and historic archaeology in Indiana. The program will discuss the state’s prehistoric and historical archaeological resources, the State Historical Architectural and Archaeological Research Database, and the ways that Hoosier cultural resources are being protected. Registration is required for this event.
Wade T. Tharp, Archaeologist, has been with the State of Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology since 2010. He holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts (Anthropology major, Classical Studies minor) from Indiana University Indianapolis and an M.A. in Historical Archaeology from Illinois State University. His research interests include critical theory in historical archaeology, the archaeology of internal colonization, and French vernacular architecture.
