What does it look like to choose courage and compassion in a divided world? Join Carmel-based author Jerry Zehr for an engaging, thought-provoking event exploring what it means to live as a “Sacred Rebel.” This is not a traditional book talk, but an invitation into conversation, reflection, and shared humanity.
You’ll hear real-life stories from individuals who have chosen love over fear, offering a glimpse of what that kind of courage looks like in everyday life. Jerry will guide a conversation around the themes of Sacred Rebel: Fierce Love in a Fearful World, followed by open Q&A and dialogue with the audience.
The program runs from 2–3pm, followed by book signing, light refreshments, and space to continue the conversation.
Jerry Zehr is an author, former minister of Carmel Christian Church and founder of the Carmel Interfaith Alliance. Through storytelling and conversation, he explores how ordinary people live with courage, compassion, and authenticity in uncertain times. Registration is recommended.
