Homeschool Resources

    Whether you are considering homeschooling or are already doing so and looking for additional resources, the Carmel Clay Public Library can help. We invite you to visit us and explore the wide range of print, online, and audiovisual materials the Youth Services Department provides, as well as our fun and educational events. From home you can also access our online catalog, download audiobooks and ebooks, and get recommended reading lists for kids. You are always welcome to call us at 317-844-3363 if you need assistance. A few of the many resources available are below.



    This wonderful collection offers a wide array of resources for new and experienced homeschool leaders including curriculum ideas, supplemental activities, and more!

    Digital Collections

    Libby/ Overdrive, Hoopla, RB Digital, Kanopy, and are wonderful online resources that can provide downloadable materials such as books and audio books, music, magazines, movies and TV shows and homework help. Explore our digital collections now.




    A fun, self-guided program for children ages 8-12. The Questers program promotes critical thinking, independent learning, and lots of fun! Participants complete challenges in 9 different STEAM related categories, and level up to access more fun and exciting challenges. Questers is available digitally, and can be done from anywhere at any time.

    Questers JR

    A fun program for children ages 4-7 to participate in with their caregiver or independently. The Questers JR program promotes literacy, learning, and skill development by having participants complete different challenges and activities. Questers JR is available digitally and can be done from anywhere at any time.

    STEM Playground for Homeschooling Families

    A program during the academic year that focuses on the fun of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math by introducing experiments, activities, and literacy to children ages 6-12 through videos, hands-on experiments, crafts and more.


    See our wonderful librarians in action and enjoy stories, finger plays, songs, and more as they travel through the wonderful world of books with your little ones. Storytimes are available for children birth to age 5 and can be viewed on our YouTube channel.
