Homebound Delivery

    Do you know someone who loves to read, listen to audiobooks, or watch movies but is unable to visit the library? The library provides delivery service to patrons who are unable to come to the library due to extended or acute illness, physical disabilities, or other extenuating circumstances. This service is provided to seniors and other homebound persons of any age who live independently or in senior living facilities.


    To qualify, a patron must be a resident of Carmel, be unable to visit the library in person, and have no one in the household able to visit the library to obtain materials for the homebound individual. Selection of materials is made by library staff based on patron interests and requests. Audiovisual materials as well as books may be selected. Your materials will be delivered to your door once a month.
