Teen Art Contest
For teens in grades 6–12

Get inspired and submit your artwork to the Teen Art Contest this summer.
The Teen Services Department is seeking original 2D artwork inspired by this year's Summer Reading Program theme: Unearth a Story.
Contest categories:
- Fine Art (drawing, painting, photography)
- Digital Art (no AI-generated art will be accepted)
- Collage
The winning pieces will be displayed in 18" x 24" frames in the Main Library Teens Area from September 2026–May 2027. Entrants must be going into grades 6–12. Entries may be submitted between June 1 and July 31, 2026. Get complete contest details and submission guidelines.
Need some dedicated time and supplies to work on your contest entry? Be sure to stop by our Teen Art Tuesday sessions on Tuesdays in June from 10:30am–1pm. The Teen Department will provide various art supplies and paper to create entries for the Teen Art Contest. You may also be able get advice from our current Teen Artists in Residence.
