Are you a teen in grade 6–12 who wants to make a difference in our community? You can apply to partner with the library's Teen Services Department to host a program or workshop at the Main Library. Past student-led programs have included cultural celebrations, coding classes, and writing workshops. Student-led programs are scheduled on Saturdays with one spot being available each month.
Whether you want to lead a hands-on workshop, teach a new skill, or share your passion, we welcome your ideas and enthusiasm. To submit a proposal for a program that you'd like to lead, complete this Student-Led Programming Application. All applications will be reviewed, and you will be contacted by email to set up an in-person appointment to discuss your proposal with the Teen Services Department Manager. Applications are available year-round, and we welcome submissions from all interested teens.
Have questions about our student-led programming opportunities? Contact our Teen Services Department at 317.814.3983 or stop by the Teens Area at the Main Library.
