    Storytimes

    Library Babies: For kids aged 0–12 months and their caregivers

    Little Ones: For kids aged 12–24 months and their caregivers

    Tales for Twos and Threes: For kids aged 2–3 and their caregivers

    Book Buddies: For kids aged 4–6 on their own

    Our storytimes are offered from September–April. In June and July, a special Summer Babies series for ages 0–18 months takes place, and Summer Buddies replaces our usual Book Buddies program. Check our calendar for other special events for kids.

    Art and STEAM Programs

    Creating on Canvas: For kids in grades 3-5. We'll guide you step-by-step through a specific painting. Offered June–April.

    Dabble: For kids ages 7–12 on their own. Discover different mediums and artists. Offered September–April.

    dabble jr.: For kids ages 4–6 on their own. Explore arts and crafts through various mediums. Offered September–April.

    STEAM Explorers: For kids ages 7–12 on their own. Try STEAM activities from our Exploration Lab. Offered September–April.

    STEAM explorers jr.: For kids ages 4–6 with caregivers. Join us in the Discovery Room as we explore a special selection of STEAM kits. Offered September–April.

    STEAM Storytime: A Fun Family Book Club: For kids ages 3–5 with their caregivers. We read a picture book together and complete a STEAM-inspired challenge with other families. Offered in February, April, June, August, October, and December.

    Thinkers and Tinkers; Exploring STEAM Through Stories: For kids ages 7–11 and their caregivers. Learn about STEAM concepts through stories and then explore that topic together through challenges, experiments, or activities. Offered in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

    StoryWalks 

    These outdoor installations allow families to read a book while enjoying the outdoors. Pages from a children’s book are set up along an outdoor path, allowing children and adults to read the story as they stroll. Click here to see current and upcoming book titles and locations.
