Seed Library
The Seed Library is a collection of open-pollinated and heirloom seeds (vegetables, herbs, and flowers) that any resident of Hamilton County with a library card can "check out" to plant at home. The Seed Library is a partnership between the Master Gardeners of Hamilton County, CCPL Foundation Friends, and the Carmel Clay Public Library.
Our seed selection form is currently unavailable while we transition to in-person seed pickup. Beginning Wednesday, March 10, our self-service Seed Library stand will be available in the Merchants' Square Main Library lobby for you to visit and choose your seeds. There is a limit of 15 seed packets per person per season. If you would like to pick up your seeds via our curbside service or have any questions about the Seed Library, please call 317-844-3362 for assistance.
