Creating On Canvas: Celebrating America 250!

For kids entering grades 3–5 on their own

(Grades 3–5 only) Join us on either 6/3, 6/4, 7/13, or 7/14 to paint an American flag sky. For info about required registration and program details, read the full description or call 317.814.3992.

Celebrate and honor America's 250th anniversary through art this summer! In this fun program, we'll guide you step-by-step in painting a twilight sky with the last of the day's colors forming an American flag above a peaceful line of pines. Beginners are most welcome—no experience is necessary. We'll be using permanent, acrylic paints, so please wear clothes that can get stained, just in case.

Painting sessions are available on the following dates and times. Choose ONE session that works best for you!

• June 3 at 3:45–4:45pm
• June 4 at 10:00–11:00am
• July 13 at 3:45–4:45pm
• July 14 at 10:00–11:00am

Registration begins May 27 for June 3's program. Participants must be entering grades 3–5. To ensure successful signup, each child needs to be registered separately using the child's first and last name on the registration form. A library card number is not required. Children in grade 5 and below must have a caregiver on library premises during the program.
