Teens in grades 6–12 can stop by the Teens Area from 10:30am–1pm to hang out and enjoy Pokemon.
Teens in grades 6–12 can stop by the Teens Area from 10:30am–1pm as a part of our Teen Summer Drop-In series to make new friends or hang out with old friends while trading cards, battling each other with your best decks, and more! We will provide beginner decks for anyone new to battling or who would like to learn how to play the game. This will also serve as a meetup for any digital Pokémon games, including PokemonGo, PokemonTCG Pocket, and any of the handheld Pokémon games.
The Teen Summer Drop-In series for teens in grades 6–12 features different activities in the Teens Area from 10:30am–1pm every Monday–Thursday all month long. These activities include Pokémon meetups, origami, stem activities, as well as a chance to work on your entry for our teen art contest. No registration is required. Note that this series is not for children younger than grade 6 or adults.
Note: Active card trading will take place. Please keep at home any favorite cards that you don't want to trade or accidentally lose or misplace as the library is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items or cards.
If the attendee needs special accommodations for this program to be successful, please let us know by calling the Teen Services Department at 317.814.3983 or emailing youngadult@carmelclaylibrary.org.
