Event LawnLearn how to create custom wool felt designs with wet felting!
Wet felting is the process of taking pieces of wool and combining them into a single object with the use of water, soap, and friction. Learn what you can make with this process and try a simple wet felt project using just water, soap, wool, and a plastic bag, all of which will be provided. We will create small, introductory pieces that can function as coasters or a small piece of fabric with a custom design, and we will talk about the simple changes that could be made to turn wet-felted pieces into bowls, hot pads, hats, and more!
Please note, this is a hands-on craft that will require 10-15 minutes of kneading the wool. Unfortunately, wet felting can be difficult for those who have a hard time pressing firmly or squeezing with their hands and fingers.
