It's jigsaw puzzle time! Teams of 2-4 people will have 2 hours to complete a 500-piece puzzle. First to finish wins! Registration is required.

Here's how it works:

  • Get a team together of 2–4 people. This is an event for 13 years and older.
  • Have the team captain register the team online. The captain will be the primary contact for the event. Space is limited to 15 teams, so register early!
  • Register for only the morning competition (10am–noon) or the afternoon competition (2–4pm), not both.
  • Come 15 minutes early to sign in and get last-minute instructions.

Event Details:

  • Each team will receive the same 500-piece puzzle.
  • The goal is to finish the jigsaw puzzle in the shortest amount of time.
  • If no team finishes within the 120-minute mark, the winning team will be the one with the fewest remaining loose pieces. In the event of a tie, teams will get an additional five minutes to work on the puzzle.
  • No outside assistance is permitted.
  • Team members must be adults or teens and are the only people allowed at their team's table.
  • Feel free to bring snacks for your team to keep up that puzzle energy!

Registration is required. Register for only the morning or afternoon competition, not both. Space is not provided for attendees other than team members at this event.

Thanks to Ravensburger for generously donating the puzzles for this event.

If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your reservation so someone on the waitlist can join. If you are on the waitlist, attend only if you get a confirmation email indicating that a spot has opened up for you. Staff members will be taking attendance.

To cancel your registration, do one of the following:

  • Use the link and registration reference number from the "You're Registered" email you received.
  • Call the library's Adult Services Department at 317.814.3988.
