The town of Eranthis is celebrating their end-of-winter festival, and you are invited! This festival is legendary for its extravagant celebration. But when an out-of-season blizzard begins to form around the town and a monster of legend is sighted in the woods, the joy of the people of Eranthis quickly turns to fear.
Calling all adventurers in grades 6-8 for a 3-hour Dungeons and Dragons event. No prior experience is necessary, and character sheets will be provided (though you are welcome to create your own 3rd-level 5e character using official D&D materials). Will you be able to help Eranthis survive the storm and figure out what's really going on before it is too late?
"Cold Front" is a winter-themed Dungeons & Dragons one-shot (a D&D adventure that is designed to be completed in one sitting). Created for middle school TTRPG enthusiasts, this adventure is balanced for a party of three to six 3rd-level 5e characters and is designed for both veteran and new players. No experience is necessary, and premade character sheets will be available.
You are also welcome to create your own 3rd-level 5e character using point buy for ability scores and official D&D content only (NOT using the new 2024 rules). If you are building your own character, please be aware that your character must be completed prior to the event, as there will not be time to make one during the event.
As part of the registration, we ask that you share your level of experience with Dungeons and Dragons so that we can assign and build parties that are balanced between new and experienced players.
Please plan to arrive before 1:30pm as that is when we will be starting the adventure. We will have the doors open by 1:15pm for people to get settled in and meet the other players. We have a lot of fun story to get through and we will need every minute available!
