Meet author Lorna Graham as she discusses her new release "Where You Once Belonged." Registration is required for this free author event.
Lorna Graham is the author of The Ghost of Greenwich Village (Random House/Ballantine) and is a writer at Dateline NBC. She has written numerous documentaries, including Auschwitz, produced by Steven Spielberg and narrated by Meryl Streep, which competed at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival. Across numerous films, PSAs, and speeches, she’s written for Presidents Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush, Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford, and Morgan Freeman. She graduated from Barnard College and lives in Greenwich Village.
In her new novel Where You Once Belonged, a cynical TV news producer sells out her principles to rise to her network’s top job and comes face-to-face with what appears to be her idealistic teenage self. Everleigh Page, on the brink of becoming the first female president of her network's news division, has compromised many of her principles to reach this point. After firing two staffers and killing an important story, she faces a moral dilemma, especially as her personal life becomes increasingly complicated. A mystical twist at a college reunion forces her to confront her past choices and question if she can rectify her wrongs.
