Author Lo Patrick will visit Carmel Clay Public Library with her new release The Sins of Summer Daughters. Described as Sharp Objects meets William Kent Kreuger, The Sins of Summer Daughters is a searing southern mystery. When her granddaughter is accused of murder, a woman must confront the buried secrets of a summer long past—because she can try to forget, but the Georgia land remembers.
A former musician, concert promoter, model booker, and attorney, Lo Patrick is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and a magna cum laude graduate of University of Miami School of Law. She lives in the Atlanta area with her husband, two kids, and two cats. Her debut, The Floating Girls, earned a starred review from Publisher's Weekly, was a finalist for the Townsend Prize for Fiction, and was a Reader's Digest Editor's Pick. Her sophomore novel The Night the River Wept earned a starred review from Booklist, and her latest book, Fast Boys and Pretty Girls, earned a starred review from Library Journal.
