Emma Lilian Todd, an American aviation pioneer, was the first woman to design airplanes. Together we will read and learn about her life and then discuss more about aircraft engineering. After listening to tips from a NASA aerospace engineer on how to minimize drag and add stability, we will design and test paper airplanes.
Free tickets are required and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Kids Desk 30 minutes prior to the scheduled program start time. A ticket will be required for each person attending the program. A caregiver must be present and actively engaged in the program. Siblings are welcome.
