Creating On Canvas: Dragonfly among Clover and Fairy Lights

Exclusively for kids entering grades 3–5

Kids going into grades 3–5! Join us on either 6/26 or 7/24 to paint a dragonfly visiting a magical clover field. Read the full event description for important registration info or call 317.814.3992.

Choose the date that works best for you—June 26 or July 24—and join us to capture a whimsical summer night. In this fun program, we'll guide you step-by-step in painting a night sky and the path of a curious dragonfly around the moon and over a grassy field of clover, illuminated by spirals of firefly lights—or might they be fairy lights?

Beginners are most welcome—no experience is necessary. We'll be using permanent, acrylic paints, so please wear clothes that can get stained, just in case.

Registration begins July 17 for July 24's program. Participants must be entering grades 3–5. To ensure successful signup, each child needs to be registered separately, using the child's first and last name—not the parent's name—on the registration form. A library card number is not required. We ask that caregivers remain on the premises at the Main Library during the program.
