Families can enjoy a nature walk and story by participating in our StoryWalk at Meadowlark Park, accessible from both Meadow Lane and the Monon Trail.

Visit Meadowlark Park (450 Meadow Ln.) from June 4–July 1, when the library will be partnering with Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation to present a StoryWalk featuring the book A Piece of Chalk by Jennifer Ericsson with illustrations by Michelle Shapiro. Follow the signs from the playground and go around the boardwalk to read this book about an imaginative little girl who draws a story with a brand-new box of chalk.

Also, be sure to join us anytime betwen 6:00-7:00pm on June 4 to kick off this StoryWalk by participating in a group chalk project at the Meadowlark Park playground!
