Join local author Ted Woerner for a presentation on his book Savage Angel, the story of Swede Savage's life and death in the Indy 500. A book signing will follow. Registration is recommended.

The Indy 500 is almost here, and we're kicking it off with a local story. Join Savage Angel author Ted Woerner and Angela Savage, daughter of racing legend Swede Savage, for this riveting presentation and book-signing event. Angela, who is one of the main subjects of the book, was born just three months after her father died from injuries suffered in a devastating crash in the 1973 Indianapolis 500. The presentation will look at not only the remarkable life of Swede Savage but also the effects that his death had on the family he left behind, and on Angela in particular who grew up as his posthumous child.

Books will be available for purchase, and a book signing will follow the talk. Registration is recommended.
