Learn about the nature-wellness practice of Forest Bathing. Explore its history and benefits in this introductory session. May include time outside if weather permits. Registration required.
Forest Bathing is a nature connection practice which elevates sensory observations in the present moment. Participants use their senses to connect to the landscape as a way to gently and mindfully notice themselves and the world. Slow and intentional time in nature, such as through a Forest Bathing experience, can reduce stress, relieve anxiety, boost happiness, promote relaxation, and build connections to the natural world. This introductory session, facilitated by Nature & Forest Therapy Guide Michelle Morton, will explore the history and benefits of Forest Bathing and may include time outside (weather permitting).
This program is for adults. Registration is required. If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your reservation so someone on the waitlist can join.
