This winter enjoy family movie night like never before! Each interactive family movie night kit includes a bag of popcorn, a craft related to the movie of your choice from our kit list, special instructions to follow while watching your movie, and suggestions for continuing the fun after the show.
Choose your kit anytime on our Programs for Kids page. Physical DVDs / Blu-rays will not be included in these kits. You may check out the movies from the library, and they are also available via various streaming services, listed below. Requests can take up to 48 hours to process, so please plan accordingly.
Kits are available for the following movies:
Returning winter favorite: Frozen (Rated PG). Recommended for kids ages 5+ by Common Sense Media. Also available online through Disney+.
New this winter: Balto (Rated G). Recommended for children ages 6+ by Common Sense Media. Also available online through Peacock.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Rated PG). Recommended for kids ages 7+ by Common Sense Media. Also available online through Peacock.
Hotel Transylvania (Rated PG). Recommended for kids ages 7+ by Common Sense Media. Also available online through Hulu with a Starz subscription.
How to Train Your Dragon (typically Rated PG). Usually recommended for ages 5-8+ by Common Sense Media. You can choose your favorite How to Train Your Dragon movie or Dragons Netflix episode to go along with this kit.
Zootopia (Rated PG). Recommended for kids ages 8+ by Common Sense Media. Also available online through Disney+.
Moana (Rated PG). Recommended for kids ages 6+ by Common Sense Media. Also available online through Disney+.
Pokémon (typically Rated G). Usually recommended for kids ages 5-8+ by Common Sense Media. You can choose your favorite Pokémon movie to go along with this kit! The library has plenty of DVDs and Blu-rays, or you can find 16 different movies online by accessing the library's Hoopla app here.
