Hear from Toyi Rodriguez on how cultural intelligence impacts living and thriving abroad. Registration is recommended.

Join Carmel-based author, entrepreneur, and cross-cultural consultant Toyi Rodriguez for a dynamic conversation on the invisible cultural codes shaping leadership, communication, loyalty, and relationships across borders. In her book Global Citizen: A Cultural and Transformative Journey to Thrive Abroad, Toyi draws from her experience living and working across multiple countries to unpack the subtle misunderstandings that divide well-intentioned people and the cultural intelligence that reconnects them. Global Citizen is a finalist for the 2025 Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Awards, Multicultural Adult Nonfiction. 

This is not just a book talk. It’s a conversation about leading, adapting, and building meaningful relationships across borders. Book sales and signing will follow the conversation. Registration is recommended.

If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your reservation so someone on the waitlist can join. If you are on the waitlist, attend only if you get a confirmation email indicating that a spot has opened up for you. Staff members will be taking attendance.
