Read your own poetry or share your favorite reading at this family-friendly event. Come to read or just to listen. Registration required.

Share your original poetry or recite a piece that speaks to you in a safe, supportive, judgement-free zone.

  • Readings are limited to 3 minutes.
  • A lectern stand and microphone will be available for use.
  • As this event is open to all ages and is family-friendly, explicit language/gestures/behavior is prohibited.
  • Performers may begin signing up at 5:30pm, and readings will take place from 6:00pm until 7:30pm. If time permits, participants may share additional pieces.
  • Drinks are permitted, but please, no alcoholic beverages.

Registration is required. Please register even if you'd just like to listen. We will have a sign-up sheet at the event for those who would like to share a poem.

If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your registration so someone on the waitlist can join. If you are on the waitlist, attend only if you get a confirmation email indicating that a spot has opened up for you. Staff members will be taking attendance.

To cancel your registration, do one of the following:
