Learn about software synthesizers and music production in Reason Studios with the Digital Media Lab. Registration is required.

Reason is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) available in the Digital Media Lab for free. It is purely focused on synthesizers, and it functions much like a digital version of a synth rack, with software recreations of many real-world synthesizers available for use. While synthesizers as a whole can be very complicated, this class will simplify the workflow and give you a foundational understanding of how you can use synthesizers, software or physical, to make ground-breaking music.

No prior knowledge of Reason or synthesizers will be required for this class, but experience in music and/or production is recommended. If necessary, join us for one of our 60-minute Introduction to Music Production classes linked below.

Registration is required, and attendee spots are limited. If you registered for this program and are no longer able to attend, do one of the following:
