Want to learn more about how our government works but don’t have time to retake high school civics? The Citizens’ Handbook, commissioned by the League of Women Voters of Indiana and written by Dr. Darren Wheeler and Stacy Wheeler of Ball State University, is a factual, easy-to-read primer on our system of governance. Join the League of Women Voters of Hamilton County as we explore this free online civic education tool and discuss how it can support you in becoming an active participant in Indiana civics. No registration required.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy. We never support or oppose any political party or candidate. Learn more about the Hamilton County chapter.
