Learn the business of acting, practice on-camera scene work, and get tips for professional self-tapes in this one-day workshop with actors Kennedy Martin and Rachel Redleaf. Registration required.
This day-long workshop will guide performers in preparing for screen acting.

This workshop is designed for adults age 18 and over. Registration is required. This workshop was made possible by Cinematography for Actors, the City of Carmel, and the Carmel Clay Public Library.
About the Instructors:
Kennedy Martin is a Los Angeles actor best known for her lead role in the Lifetime feature Who’s Stalking My Family, released last November. Her next film, Murder on the Homestead (directed by Haylie Duff), releases later this year. Other credits include the Showtime film Crowning Jules, PureFlix’s Healed By Grace 2, and a supporting role in a Village Roadshow Pictures pilot filmed at Jim Henson Studios. You may recognize her from national spots for Forward Healthcare and Disney World, or hear her voice in the Golden Globe-winning Argentina 1985. Kennedy has also done voice work for YSL, NBC Peacock's Saved by the Bell, Intel, and Spotify. As a producer, she recently wrapped her first feature Blood Yolk and associate produced a NEON x Kodak-backed short Indigo Blue.
Rachel Redleaf is best known for her series regular role as Beth in Atypical on Netflix and as a recurring role on the Paramount+ drama Why Women Kill. She also played Mama Cass in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, as well as a supporting role in the award-winning Sundance film Kajillionaire with Gina Rodriguez, Evan Rachel Wood, and Richard Jenkins. Redleaf's one-woman-show Too Much of a Good Thing has been touring with appearances in Edinburgh, NYC, Hollywood, and even on The Playbill Cruise. Rachel is an advocate for anti-bullying and body positivity and is a strong supporter of the “Kid in the Corner” Foundation.
