**NEW DATE** Discover how Indiana's history was shaped by its diverse residents. Registration is required for this live virtual event.
Join Be the Change Indy on April 28 as they host a panel of local historians who will discuss Indiana's rich cultural history. Panelists will discuss the importance of historical preservation as it relates to accurate representation of people and events. Additionally, participants will learn how different genders, races, and ethnicities have contributed to Indiana history. Presenters include Deborah Gangstad, the Executive Director of the Carmel Clay Historical Society; David Heighway, Hamilton County Historian; and David Nichols, Professor of History at Indiana University and Editor of Indiana Magazine of History.
This live virtual event will be held via Zoom, and registration is required. Zoom login information will be emailed to registrants prior to the event. Registration will close 24 hours in advance of the event.
