Creating On Canvas: Whiskers's First Snow

For kids in grades 3–5

(Grades 3–5) Join us on either 11/17 or 12/1 to paint a furry friend's whimsical reaction to his first snow. Read the full event description for important registration info or call 317.814.3992.

Choose the date that works best for you—November 17 or December 1—and join us to capture a furry pet delightedly experiencing his first snow. In this fun program, we'll guide you step-by-step in painting Whiskers's nose joyfully lifted toward the sky as snow gently falls onto his smiling face.

Beginners are most welcome—no experience is necessary. We'll be using permanent, acrylic paints, so please wear clothes that can get stained, just in case.

Registration begins November 24 for December 1's program. Participants must be in grades 3–5. To ensure successful signup, each child needs to be registered separately, using the child's first and last name on the registration form. A library card number is not required. Children in grade 5 and below must have a caregiver on library premises during the program.
