Looking for ways to make your holiday shopping a little greener and more earth-friendly? Discover organic, natural, and repurposed items from local vendors at this one-day event.
The Carmel Green Initiative’s Green Gift Shop offers green gift ideas that are local, organic, natural, recycled, reused, or repurposed. Local businesses will showcase green gifts for family and friends. Pick up products such as handcrafted, reworked vintage jewelry from Earth Rocks; earth friendly items for the home made from reused cloth from Land Goods; yummy organic chocolate from Xchocol’Art; children’s clothing made from used clothing by That’s Sew Martha; essential oils for body, mind, and spirit from Frangipani Body Products; homemade pet treats made from human grade ingredients and locally sourced from Kora’s Kitchen; and much, much more! There will also be crafts for teens and children to make and take home starting at 4:30 pm.
This event is presented by Carmel Green Initiative and the Carmel Clay Public Library. For more information about this event, visit carmelgreen.org or contact Madelyn Zalon at mzalon@carmelgreen.org or 317.459.2150.
