Puerto Rican band Grupo Bembé will get the room moving with lively bomba, plena, salsa, cumbia, and bachata musical styles. Registration is required for this free concert.

Formed in 2007, Grupo Bembé performs many styles of Latin music including bomba (the most African-derived Puerto Rican musical expression), plena (Puerto Rican cultural music), salsa, bachata, and cumbia. With members from countries including Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Panama, Mexico, and the United States, the group’s mission is to promote Latin music, especially that of Puerto Rico, through musical performances, workshops, and other activities.

Registration is required for this free concert.
