Preparing a Multicolor 3D Print
Class for teens and adults
Thursday, May 29
5:00pm - 6:00pm
Main Library
Digital Media LabLearn how prepare a model for multicolor printing in Bambu Studio with a Digital Media Lab specialist. Registration is required.
3D printing is a two-step process that involves creating a model and then setting it up for printing. You may have created a model in Tinkercad or found one premade online, but unless it is specifically set up for multicolor printing, we will only be able to use one color in the Digital Media Lab. To fix that, this class will cover setting up your own print in Bambu Studio, a free slicing program that you could use in the Lab or at home, to print in up to four colors.
In this class, we will discuss best practices for multicolor print design, but you will not be creating your own models. Models will be provided, and you will have the option to print your work at the end. Registration is required.
Attendee spots are limited. If you registered for this program and are no longer able to attend, do one of the following:
- Use the link and registration reference number from the "You're Registered" email you received.
- Call the library's Digital Media Lab at 317.814.3999.
