This is a four-part workshop for adults that occurs Thursdays, March 13, 20, 27, and April 3 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. By registering for this program, you are committing to all four sessions. Space is limited, so please do not take a spot if you are unable to attend all four Thursdays. Registration is required.
What will happen in this writing series?
This class focuses on writing and sharing using Guided Autobiography. This method was started by Dr. James Birren and includes weekly writing prompts which are completed on your own time and then shared in a small group setting in class. During the class, we will also explore some ways to jumpstart your creativity, such as flash writing, illustrating, and reading some short examples of memoirs. The end product will be a handful of life stories, new friends, and hopefully an inspiration to continue writing!
