Families with kids of all ages are invited to enjoy the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra's annual family program, Growing Up Baroque! Join IBO violinist Sarah Cranor and children's author Mariana Llanos for a bilingual, musical telling of Llanos's book Run, Little Chaski! Participants will journey to 18th Century Latin America and experience the story of Little Chaski running the Inca Trail. IBO musicians will have an instrumental petting zoo following the performance for families to learn about what makes Baroque instruments so special. No registration or tickets are required.
Please enjoy all snacks before and after the program. We ask all attendees, including children, to refrain from eating during the program so that all participants can focus on and engage with the event's activities together.
