Bestselling author Liza Monroy shares her new book "The Distractions." Registration is required for this free author event.
Author Liza Monroy joins us to discuss her recent release The Distractions, a tale of how technology enables obsession, envy, and unrelenting comparison, told through an eccentric cast of interconnected characters. The Distractions invites us to reflect on who we are watching and why.
After getting her start in the storied William Morris Agency mailroom, Liza left the business side of creativity to pursue her calling as a writer. Her books include the novels The Distractions and Mexican High, the memoir The Marriage Act: The Risk I Took To Keep My Best Friend In America And What It Taught Us About Love, and Seeing As Your Shoes Are Soon To Be On Fire, a collection of personal essays.
Book sales and signing will follow the presentation. Registration is required for this event.
