Throughout the month of October, visit the Main Library's second floor to experience a display in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The Clothesline Project exhibit displays t-shirts with messages of strength and resilience created by survivors of domestic/family violence. The exhibit's purpose is to increase awareness of the impact of violence and to give survivors an avenue for breaking the silence that often surrounds domestic violence. Local presentation of The Clothesline Project is presented by Prevail, Inc, a Hamilton County nonprofit organization that strives to empower victims of crime and abuse on their path to healing while engaging the community to support safe, healthy relationships.
Look for this special exhibit on the Main Library's second floor through the end of October.
