Join Carmel High School students as they show off their world history projects in celebration of the 50th anniversary of National History Day.
National History Day is an academic contest that provides a tremendous opportunity for students to explore world history. Students research a topic of their choice related to the annual theme. This year's theme is "Turning Points in History." Participating students become writers, filmmakers, web designers, playwrights, and exhibit developers as they create unique contemporary interpretations of the past. Drop by this evening to view and discuss with the students the projects they worked so hard to put together. By doing so, you can play an integral part in helping young people develop their skills of personal interaction and expository speaking in preparation for the sectional round of competition to be held at Carmel High School on March 16.
