Create a Mac-inspired, custom key fob in honor of the 40th anniversary of the classic computer. This program is in the Digital Media Lab. Registration is required.
The iconic Apple Macintosh computer was released on January 24, 1984, so this month marks the 40th anniversary of the first Mac. The Mac introduced the masses to a graphical user interface, introduced the first mass-produced mouse, and had a major impact on the personal computing revolution that followed.
To pay homage to 40 years of the Mac, the Digital Media Lab has come up with a key fob design that can be customized with the icons or letters of the classic 1984 mac computer. The back side of the fob has the iconic (pardon the pun) smiling Mac logo. The front side can be customized with whatever you want, whether it's another Mac icon, a letter (your initial, for example), or your own design.
The fobs will be printed on the DML's new Bambu Labs 3D printer which offers more flexible multi-color printing than we've been able to offer in the past.
Come join us to create your own blast from the digital computing past.
