Digital Media Lab

Learn to add your own animated effects to video with a Digital Media Specialist. Registration is required.

Of the myriad ways to add special effects to video footage, perhaps none are as versatile as hand-drawn animation. In this class, you will get a chance to try out this fun, limitless technique and learn how to make it feel more manageable! We will cover frame-by-frame animation and even discuss the principles behind rotoscoping. If you aren't familiar with rotoscoping, you will be in good company! This class is beginner friendly, and the only requirement is that you are willing to be creative and draw using iPads provided by the Digital Media Lab. 

Attendee spots are limited due to space and equipment limitations. If you registered for this program and are no longer able to attend, do one of the following:
