Digital Media Lab

Learn the basics of Capcut, one of the simplest video editing programs for beginners and short-form content creators, with the Digital Media Lab. Registration is required.

Capcut is a free program that gained a lot of attention due to its integration with TikTok and its use of snappy, engaging elements. For creators working on short-form content, this has become the default editing program. In this class, you will learn how to manage your own projects inside the editor. Please note that Capcut is not optimized for in-depth or film-style editing. 

Attendee spots are limited due to space and equipment limitations. If you registered for this program and are no longer able to attend, do one of the following:

  • Use the link and registration reference number from the "You're Registered" email you received.
