Author Jennifer Moorman shares her new children's book "Willa and the Way Home."

Author Jennifer Moorman reads her new picture book Willa and the Way Home. Appropriate for ages 3 to 8, Willa and the Way Home is a story about a German Shepherd puppy who gets lost in a new neighborhood after chasing a butterfly and must find her way back with the help of new animal friends. It explores themes of bravery, friendship, and adjusting to change. Illustrated by Julianne St. Clair, the story follows Willa as she learns that asking for help is a form of courage, making it a comforting read for kids facing new situations. 

Moorman will read her book to the audience and answer questions. Children are encouraged to bring a favorite stuffed animal with them to the reading. Registration is required for this free event. Book sales and signing will be available after the reading. Presented by the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation.
