Learn about the Indian tradition of Diwali at this event designed for adults and teens. Registration is required.

This presentation explores the 5-day festival of Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights. It highlights the cultural significance, traditional celebrations, and the symbolic meaning of Diwali. Presented by the Carmel-Visakhapatnam Sister City Committee.

Registration is required.

And don't miss our Celebrate Diwali storytimes for families on October 17 and 18.

If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your registration so someone on the waitlist can join. If you are on the waitlist, attend only if you get a confirmation email indicating that a spot has opened up for you. Staff members will be taking attendance.

(Ages 2–5) Drop in anytime between 10:00–11:30am and have fun creating with colorful paper, crayons, and glue! No tickets are required. Please enjoy all snacks before and after the program.
