(Ages 4–8) Drop off your stuffed or plastic dino on 11/5 for a sleepover! Then come on 11/6 for a storytime and to hear about its adventure! Read the full description for important registration info.

We're having a sleepover for your favorite dinosaur at the library! On Wednesday, November 5, drop off your dino friend at the Kids Desk between 9:00am and 6:00pm. Your dino buddy will stay the night and share many adventures with other dinosaurs as they make friends and explore the library together. Then on Thursday, November 6, join us at 7:00pm for a special Bedtime Stories and reunite with your dinosaur. As part of the fun, you'll watch a slideshow of all the adventures the dino friends had—and any mischief they got into!

Registration is required and begins October 29. Please sign up each child separately on the registration form. A library card number is not required. To reserve a spot, each child must be

  • 4–8 years old
  • Able to participate in both the dinosaur drop-off on November 5 and the storytime on November 6

Each registered child may bring one dinosaur for the sleepover. Please consider your child's attachment to the dinosaur before registering, as the toys will be locked in the library overnight after closing and will not be available again until the storytime on November 6.

Although siblings of registered participants may not participate in the dinosaur sleepover drop-off on November 5, siblings are welcome to attend the accompanying storytime on November 6 and bring their own dino friend to the storytime.

Don't forget to wear your jammies!

Please enjoy all snacks before and after the program. We ask all attendees, including children, to refrain from eating during the program so that all participants can focus on and engage with the event's activities together.
