Local author Ethan McAndrews and illustrator Takeo Tsunamoto share their new cookbook. Registration is required for this free author event.

Local author Ethan McAndrews has spend extensive time traveling to Carmel's Japanese sister city, Kawachinagano.  His belief is the best way to understand a culture is through your stomach, not your eyes.  In The Carmel Kawachinagano Cookbook, McAndrews eats his way through the iconic dishes shaping two small town sister cities, Carmel, Indiana, and Kawachinagano, Japan.  With nearly thirty recipes and countless hand-drawn illustrations, this book isn't just about food–it's also about the people who share it. He will be joined at this special event by illustrator Takeo Tsunamoto.

Book sales and signing will follow the conversation. Registration is required for this free author event. Presented by the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation.
