Learn to work within the constraints of old hardware to create pixel art in Procreate on iPads from the Digital Media Lab while learning about the history of the art form. Registration is required.

In this class we will discuss the way video game pixel art has evolved over time and how to recreate these different styles on the iPad! Using specialized pixel brushes we will apply a few aspects of pixel art such as choosing a limited color palette, choosing the size of the canvas, and dithering to create shading.

Attendee spots are limited due to space and equipment limitations. If you registered for this program and are no longer able to attend, do one of the following:
