About the Presenter
Chocolatier Joann Hofer was first exposed to her elaborate craft while living in Austria. Her painting background helped her recognize chocolate as art and a medium from which to constantly learn. After learning from international chocolate masters she decided to dive into her own choco-venture, resulting in the Xchocol'art shop on Main Street in Carmel. Her love of art, food, and travel are best expressed through chocolate. CCPL has been a source of inspiration and place of research for Joann from the very beginning of her quest to learn about chocolate.
