Crochet or knit for charity. This volunteer opportunity is open to all interested teens in grades 6–12.
Drop by to crochet or knit a simple square that will become a handmade hug for local kids and teens in need. Squares will be assembled like a collaborative art project, becoming one-of-a-kind winter accessories that will be donated to Hamilton County Kids Coats. All skill levels are welcome from beginner to advanced. Registration is not required.
Community service hours are available to members of the library's Teen Volunteer Corps. If you haven't joined the TVC yet, applications are available online and are accepted year-round from students in grades 6-12. You can even fill one out at this event!
