Are you a teen interested in creative writing? Join local teen writer Claire He for a writing workshop focused on characterization. Registration is required.

Are you a teen interested in creative writing? In this workshop host by local teen writer Claire He, participants will learn about key aspects of major forms of creative writing with a heavy focus on characterization. Topics of discussion will include character arcs and ways to improve them, voice and perspective in fiction and poetry, and how to write complex characters. 

Participants will also have time to brainstorm ideas, create their own work, share pieces with peers in small and large groups, and connect with other creative writers in the community. Paper will be provided, but participants should bring a writing utensil and may bring an optional electronic device. Registration is required.
