Celebrate National Puzzle Day by being the fastest jigsaw puzzlers at the library! Teams of 2-4 will have 120 minutes to complete a 500-piece puzzle. First to finish wins! Registration is required.

Here's how it works:

  1. Get a team together of 2-4 people. This is an event for 13 years and older. 
  2. Create a team name.
  3. Team captain registers for the team online.  The captain will be the primary contact for the event. Space is limited to 15 teams, so register early. 
  4. Come at least 15 minutes early to sign in and get last minute instructions.
  5. Registration will close 24 hours before the event. If you need to cancel your registration, email adultservices@carmelclaylibrary.org

Event Details:

  • Each team receives the same 500-piece puzzle. No one gets to see the puzzle until the timer begins.
  • The goal is to be the team that finishes the jigsaw puzzle in the shortest amount of time.
  • If no team is finished at the 120-minute mark, the winning team will be the one with fewest remaining loose pieces.
    • In the event of a tie, teams will get an additional five minutes to work on the puzzle.
  • No outside assistance is permitted.
  • Team members must be adults or teens and are the only people allowed at their team's table.

Registration is required. There is not space for attendees other than team members at this event.
