Debut author Vera Kurian joins us for a virtual author conversation via Facebook Live
Vera Kurian is a writer and scientist who was born and raised in the mid-Atlantic region before stints in NYC and LA returned her to her rightful home of Washington, DC, where she’s lived for most of her adult life. She has a PhD in Social Psychology and studied intergroup relations, ideology, and quantitative methods. She blogs irregularly about writing, horror movies, and pop culture/terrible TV and enjoys existentialism and puppies. In her debut thriller, Never Saw Me Coming, Chloe is one of seven students at her DC-based college who are part of an unusual clinical study of psychopaths—students like herself who lack empathy and can't comprehend emotions like fear or guilt. When one of the other students in the study is found murdered in the psychology building, a dangerous game of cat and mouse begins, and Chloe goes from hunter to prey.
