Creating On Canvas: Sunflower Sky

Exclusively for kids entering grades 3–5

(Grades 3–5) Join us on either 6/23, 6/24, 7/16, or 7/17 to paint a bright summer sunflower. For info about required registration and program details, read the full description or call 317.814.3992.

In this fun program, we'll guide you step-by-step in painting a bold, beautiful sunflower against a brilliant, deep-blue sky. Beginners are most welcome—no experience is necessary. We'll be using permanent, acrylic paints, so please wear clothes that can get stained, just in case.

Painting sessions are available on the following dates and times. Choose ONE session that works best for you!

• June 23 at 2:30–3:30pm
• June 24 at 10:00–11:00am
• July 16 at 1:30–2:30pm
• July 17 at 10:00–11:00am

Registration begins June 16 for June 24's program. Participants must be entering grades 3–5. To ensure successful signup, each child needs to be registered separately using the child's first and last name on the registration form. A library card number is not required. Children in grade 5 and below must have a caregiver on library premises during the program.

Please enjoy all snacks before and after the program. We ask all attendees to refrain from eating during the program so that all participants can focus on and engage with the event's activities together.
